Welcome to the Steelhead Trout Club of Washington web site. Our goal is to provide you with information about steelhead fishing from tips and techniques to political and regulatory issues. We hope to provide you with information that will help you enjoy Washington's steelhead resource and alert you to important information affecting your ability to enjoy that resource.
Our website is growing with regular content additions. We have steelhead photo and video galleries, a growing list of articles on steelhead fishing techniques, book recommendations, and steelhead recipes. Our resouce section has the information you need to plan your next river fishing trip for steelhead.
We do not have a chat area or post fishing reports, but we do have fishing reports at our regular meetings - so drop on by. If you have a comment about the site, please e-mail us at,

Founded in 1928, STCW is the oldest active outdoor sports club in the state. We have been active in steelhead issues for over 80 years. We have been active in many enhancement and conservation activities and have fought against development that threatens the steelhead resource. You can find out more at About Us.
